About Tamara Taylor

Show Up Strong®
in Life & Business
“Some of my biggest wins in business went to people I regret helping. They won big. Others paid the price. I learned from that and changed who I work with. Now, when my clients win, I'm proud of who won.”
Tamara Taylor
“Greed is good” built the last forty years of business ethics and the mess that came with it. Her clients are building what comes next. The industry her clients work in doesn’t matter as much as the way they do business.
Her clients are the people who are responsible for the entire outcome of the business and believe in responsible, sustainable capitalism: profitable companies that don’t leave damage behind them.
If you’re building genuine value and you know your company is not living up to its potential, she is all in. If you want help extracting profit at other people’s expense, she will tell you no in the first conversation.
Owners come to her when growth has stalled, when operations need optimizing, when a succession, sale, or major investment is ahead, or when a business needs turning around before it’s too late.
“Tamara operates with integrity and left every project or company I saw her work with running better than it did prior to her arrival.”
MANAGING DIRECTOR, INTERNATIONAL SECURITY INDUSTRY
Her specialty is knowing what a business and their buyers really need. Sometimes that’s a small change in the right place. Sometimes it’s a bold move: the one that scares you, because if it goes wrong, it goes wrong with your name on it.
Tamara does not talk owners out of those moves, and she does not cheerlead anyone into recklessness. She helps you calculate the risk with measured consequences:
- Which decisions can be reversed, and which are bells you can’t unring
- Who benefits, and who owns the downside if it fails
- Which “facts” are really assumptions
- Whose recommendations are shaped by an agenda
- Whether your reasoning would hold up later in front of a buyer, a board, a regulator, the court of public opinion, or your own employees and loved ones
She also sees what isn’t in the room—the question nobody wants to ask, the stakeholder who never got invited, the risk everyone assumes someone else handled.
Then, if the move survives that scrutiny, she helps you make it. And she isn’t timid about it.
“She quickly and insightfully pulls out what’s important and gets to the point. Be prepared to move fast and get the feedback you need to hear that most people won’t tell you.”
FOUNDING PARTNER, INSURANCE INDUSTRY, USA
People expecting a hard-nosed risk analyst are usually surprised to find an unapologetic optimist. She believes nearly anything can be done when the conditions and resources exist to bridge the wish and the result. Building the bridge is the work.
The rigor is what gives her clients’ the best odds for their ambitions.
That optimism isn’t naive. She has done the work herself, which is why she knows what’s truly possible, what it should cost, and how long it should take. From operations and compliance to marketing systems, websites, SEO and digital visibility, analytics, automation, and digital infrastructure, she knows the difference between real competence and a good sales pitch.
When a business needs its client-acquisition engine built, not just advised on, that is work she still delivers directly through Show Up Strong Online, until the strategy is running and can be handed off.
Some of the most expensive mistakes in business arrive as agreements, signed willingly. Tamara understands the legal jargon and has helped catch the trap or the mistake buried in the deal before it’s signed.
She has been on the wrong end of this herself, working with collaborators and vendors who served their own interests at her expense and the expense of others. It’s why no one gets brought into a client’s business without surviving her scrutiny first, and why she takes nothing for a referral. When she recommends someone, the only thing riding on it is her name.
“I would most accurately describe Tamara as my business psychiatrist, and an amazing one at that. She has phenomenal emotional intelligence and a unique ability to look at every situation in a multi-faceted way, opening otherwise hidden strategies.”
FOUNDER & EXECUTIVE CHAIR, MEDICAL INDUSTRY, ENGLAND & IRELAND
Tamara has spent more than 30 years building businesses and investing in real estate and the stock market, and has worked as a salaried employee for a cumulative six years in her career and understands what it’s like to be part of the team that has to implement plans and experience the change management side of the work.
One client grew revenue 500% in their first 18 months working with Tamara. Six years later, they’re still working together on the next transitions for that business.
Another grew 60% in 60 days.
“I implemented Tamara’s advice and my revenue went up over 60% in 60 days! She is positive, uplifting, supportive and more importantly, a workhorse. Not afraid to roll up her sleeves and do the job that needs to be done.”
CEO, MULTI-STATE BUSINESS GROUP
Her fascination with technology is lifelong. She owned one of the first handheld video games ever made, taught herself to take computers apart and rebuild them, and kept going: coding, automations, AI, and prompt engineering.
She learned dozens of skills that way, not for credentials, but because she wanted to know what it takes to do things and how they actually work. Since 2008, she has also studied Natural Language Processing and neuroscience, exploring how human cognition, language, and decision making intersect with machines.
The self-taught builder and the student of how minds work are the same person, which is why she can direct AI and emerging technology strategically instead of taking the hype at face value.
All of it comes back to one idea, the one her company is named for. If you want to know what it really means to Show Up Strong® in Life & Business, she wrote it down.
